Some things to consider

As you will see from our website, potential guests are able to search and filter listings by location, type, features and sleeps range.

This is made possible because we categorise all listings accordingly making them visible for certain criteria. We don’t charge you ‘extra’ for being listed in certain categories as there’s no value in that for anyone.

So with this in mind, a strategic selection of your properties is highly recommended in order to maximise exposure for your company on our website.

Some examples

Let’s walk through the following scenarios…

Let’s say you have 10 large properties suitable for group bookings, and they are all in the same region. Most cater for between 11 and 20 guests; some for up to 10, and one is really huge, catering for more than 30 people.

None of your properties are dog friendly, do not have a hot tub, swimming pool, games room, tennis court nor an open fire and neither do they have wheelchair access.

Easy, just pick a selection of properties that will fall under our sleeps range so you will be covered in all scenarios, which in your case would be sleeps: 1 -10, 11 - 20 and 21 - 30.

That’s at least one property from your collection represented in each sleeps range appropriate to your offering.

In this scenario that would be at least 3 listings.

Say you have 20 large properties suitable for group bookings, and they are all in the same region. One is dog friendly, one has a swimming pool, one has a games room and one has a tennis court.

For the sake of simplicity, none of your properties have a hot tub or an open fire and nor do they have wheelchair access.

And to make things even easier, they all fall into the sleeps 11 - 20 range.

So pick the one that is dog-friendly, the one that has a pool, the one that has a games room and and the one that has a tennis court.

In this scenario that would be at least 4 listings.

Your portfoilio of 30 large properties covers a wider region, the UK generally, so that’s England, Scotland and Wales.

You’ll want to be covered in each location so that’s at least 3 listings.

You could stop there, or…

Let’s say that within those regions you have various properties with varying different features such as games rooms, hot tubs, pools, tennis courts, dog friendly and wheelchair access.

And they are all in a variety of different sleeps ranges.

In this scenario that would be… um… well this is where we bow out and hand it over to you, it’s your call!

In other words, don’t stick all your eggs in the one basket; spread your properties evenly across our website so your company has a greater chance of getting found depending on what people are searching for.
